but the conversation that stuck in my mind
is really how our education system is doing
ya
i so strongly believe that teaching is just
textbook meterial
it’s impacting life
changing lifes
teaching life values
and so looking at the level
of morality going around in schools
it really disturbs me at how
singapore is going to be in the future
it’s now no more about making smart babies
but smart humans
it’s really not about how well you do
how many ‘A’s you get
but how well you can carry yourself
with ‘A’s juz enhancing you…

who are we to say that
we should be teaching morals
are we good enough
as educators to say that we are having
good morals to teach morals
good point since…
some people think that morality is indefinate
[the problem with reletive truth]
BUT
who then are we going to chug this responsiblity
of educating our young on
being human
if we as educators
people who spend almost 12 hours a day with the young
don’t asume this role
we have lost
this generation
to perverse
we got to teach
that life ain’t just about
grades
but it’s about how you’ve grown as a person
emotionally intelectually your relationships with people

it’s scarry
on another note
being 20 this year
is causing me to think deeper
to feel deeper
to treat things more precious
on another note
i’ve been drinking juz a little too much
